Several years ago the Lord spoke to me in a dream, He said, “seek my face, read My word and keep your heart clean like never before.”

Little did I know that I was about to go through some difficult trials. The Lord was giving me the secret to stay above the floods of hardship. The secret was intimacy with God.

Journaling is a tool that will help bring you into this place of intimacy. Here you will seek Him, and record what He speaks to you in His word. And as you communicate with God through journaling, it will help you to keep your heart clean as you stay accountable to Him. It is one of the greatest tools to bring you into intimacy with God. And intimacy with God is the key to standing strong through trials!

Years ago, my husband and I went through enormous trials. Because I was journaling, God was able to minister to me and give me His perspective on the situation, leading me to victory.

He desires to give you His perspective about your life. Are you giving Him time to speak to you?

Hearing His voice, and His direction, will give you the strength to go through anything. He is just waiting for you to open your heart, so that He can help you make sense of your life. Be totally honest with God, share you feelings, and all that is in your life with Him. Seeing through His eyes will help you to stand strong.
